Green Eyes

Hey people!! It's me again
Today I'll talk to you about "green planet", which is in other words ecologist practices in our world, specifically in our country :)

I think that this.. "green thinking" is not very developed here in Chile, most of people don't care about enviromental pollution but how do I know that?...it's simple, just a little walk across Av.Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins is enough to realize that a lot of garbage is on the street, people don't use garbage cans! and that's sad because we only have one city and we have to take care of it!.
People can learn about friendly enviromental practices everywhere!, there is a lot of information on the internet and on TV too. There are always commercials about how important reclycling is and  how to recylce in our own houses, but people just ignore them :(

In my house for example, we classify our garbage in Organic and Inorganic...the inorganic trash we divide it in categories of plastic, glass and metal and put them in differents cans.
On the other hand the organic garbage like leftovers we leave them in our vegetable patch, to feed the earthworms so we don't have problems with that.

Another example is using bikes instead cars! This is more developed than recycling I think, because we see a lot of cyclists on the streets nowdays and that's very good, but is not enough. We have to take care of our planet, I admire those organizations who help the world because they inspired me to try to reduce my footprint at least and contribute a little bit with the planet healthy.

I hope you think the same about the green thinking, it's very important.
we only have ONE world!!

  2. Alvaroooo. I lived in Canada for 6 months and something very interesting is that the Canadian people classify all their garbage. Maybe the government of Chile can input that.

  5. I agree with you, it's sad to see how the people who live in our city don't care about the place we live, but that's why we have to keep the green thinking in our minds and teach it to the others.
